After "Liberty Stands Still" and before "Cellular", where both the films concentrates on hostage and phone connection, Phone Booth was written by Larry Cohen and directed by Joel Schumacher in 2002.
Both writer and director are well proven Hollywood film makers, and they have done a very good job with this every-second-changing hostage thriller. But the way Colin Farrell acted as a man at the gun point - I have to say that this one is his best movies of all time.
Stu - a New york publicist and a dishonest husband, uses one specific phone booth to call his girlfriend (Katie Holmes) time and again. A crazy sniper in the adjacent building, on fine day calls him and proves that he is capable of shooting Stu any time he wants.
Stu goes about doing whatever that caller/sniper asks him to do and in the process - creates a scene on a busy road.
Rest is something you yourself will want to know but what I can promise you is if you can understand the typical Big Apple accent - you are in for a very thrilling 81 mins.
Note : Watch out for the end. I mean the very end as at the very last minute - there's another twist to the Phone Booth.

Money Train (1995).
A movie which is termed as Action, Comedy, Drama, Crime, Thriller - of course is a confused complex creation by then 44 year old director Joseph Ruben.
But what Money Train achieved in 1995 and no other movie has till date - is have a sex scene featuring Jennifer Lopez. U-turn and Angel Eyes went very close to showing J-Lo naked, but don't impress me as much as the scene in Money Train did.
Grace (Jennifer Lopez) walks in to John (Wesley Snipes) and asks him to make love, whereas the story of Money Train goes like Charlie (Woody Harrelson) loves Grace and all of the three characters are cops. With Woody and Wesley being best friends.
Woody goes mad as he realises closeness between Wesley and J-lo, and does something which leads to a train running at full speed. The climax of the movie is nothing great but you can watch it if like watching the full movie instead of just watching a sex scene of actress/singer/dancer/performer Jennifer Lopez.
The love scene - is 1 minute and 12 seconds long with not much light. But of course, you get a very good idea. The video is 10MB and you can download it here. Yes, for free but I recommend you watch it with little bit of sound as the music is very good and you hear Jennifer Lopez being hurt by Wesley Snipes.
